Course Overview
This practical course is designed for healthcare professionals who may be required to recognise and manage anaphylaxis in their clinical role.
The course focuses on the rapid recognition and assessment of anaphylaxis, immediate emergency management and the safe administration of adrenaline. Practical training includes familiarisation with different methods of adrenaline administration and the equipment currently used in clinical practice.

• Recognition and assessment of anaphylaxis
• Immediate management of the patient with anaphylaxis
• Adrenaline – indications, dose, route and administration
• Practical use of adrenaline auto-injectors

• Practical clinical scenarios and discussion
Certification
Participants receive an Immediate Care Training Certificate of Attendance on successful completion of the course. CPD is available for eligible participants.
