Course Overview
Medical emergencies in the dental setting require a rapid, coordinated response from the whole dental team. This practical on-site course combines American Heart Association BLS Provider training with the recognition and initial management of medical emergencies that may occur in dental practice.

A major emphasis is placed on practical scenarios. Because the course is delivered at your own practice, scenarios can be adapted to your clinical environment, available emergency equipment and team structure. This allows the dental team to rehearse how they would actually respond to an emergency in their workplace.
Certification
Participants successfully completing the BLS component receive an American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard, valid for 2 years. CPD is available for eligible participants.
