Learn CPR, AED use and choking management through AHA Heartsaver CPR AED online learning followed by a face-to-face practical skills session. Designed for laypeople and non-clinical staff. The €110 package includes both components. Successful completion earns an AHA Heartsaver CPR AED course completion card, valid for two years.
Course Details
AHA Heartsaver CPR AED – Blended Learning
Practical CPR, automated external defibrillator (AED) and choking-management training for people with little or no medical training, including workplace responders, non-clinical staff, teachers, sports coaches and members of the public.
Complete package: €110, including online learning and the face-to-face practical skills session.
Part 1: Online learning
Complete the American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED online component before attending your practical session.
Learn at your own pace, with the flexibility to pause and resume. Completion time varies according to the course content and your learning needs. Bring your online completion certificate to the practical session.
Part 2: Practical skills session
Practise CPR, AED use and choking management with an AHA Instructor, using training equipment and receiving feedback on your technique. You will complete the practical skills assessments required for Heartsaver certification.
Practical sessions can be arranged on the same dates as our BLS Classroom courses. Please confirm the start time, duration and venue when booking.

Certification
Successful completion of both the online learning and the required practical skills assessments earns an AHA Heartsaver CPR AED course completion card, valid for two years.
This is Heartsaver certification. Participants do not take the BLS Provider written examination, but must successfully complete the Heartsaver course requirements.
If your employer requires BLS Provider certification, please select our BLS Provider Classroom or HeartCode BLS course.
Booking options
- Complete package: €110. Online learning and practical skills session booked together with Immediate Care Training.
- Online learning only: €50. Arrange the practical session separately with us or another approved provider. Confirm acceptance and availability before purchasing.
- Practical session only: €95. For participants who have already successfully completed the appropriate AHA Heartsaver CPR AED online component.
Online learning alone does not provide the Heartsaver course completion card.
