Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking a course with Immediate Care Training. By making a booking, you agree to the terms set out below.
Bookings and Payment
Course places are subject to availability and are only confirmed once the booking has been accepted by Immediate Care Training.
Individual course bookings should normally be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
For organisations and group bookings, payment arrangements may be agreed separately and an invoice issued where appropriate.
Payment may be made using the payment methods offered at the time of booking, including secure online card payment through Stripe, bank transfer or other agreed methods.
Course Places and Attendance
Participants are responsible for ensuring that the course selected is appropriate for their requirements and, where applicable, that they meet any stated prerequisites.
Participants should arrive in sufficient time for the scheduled start of the course. Late arrival may prevent completion of the required course content or assessment and may affect eligibility for certification.
Where a course requires successful completion of practical skills, assessment or other specified requirements, attendance alone does not guarantee certification.
Cancellation or Rescheduling by the Participant
We understand that circumstances change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please contact Immediate Care Training as soon as possible.
15 days or more before the course: Full refund of the course fee, less a €10 administration fee.
8–14 days before the course: 25% of the course fee will be charged.
3–7 days before the course: 50% of the course fee will be charged.
2 days or less before the course: 100% of the course fee will be charged.
A €10 administration fee applies to cancellations or booking changes to help cover payment-processing and associated administration costs.
Where a participant does not attend a course without prior notice, the course fee is non-refundable.
Where possible, we will try to accommodate requests to transfer to another course date, subject to availability.
Substitution of Participants
If you are unable to attend, another suitable participant may attend in your place without an additional substitution fee, provided Immediate Care Training is informed before the course and any applicable course prerequisites are met.
Cancellation or Rescheduling by Immediate Care Training
Immediate Care Training reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule a course where this becomes necessary, including where there are insufficient participant numbers or circumstances arise that prevent the course from being delivered safely or effectively.
If Immediate Care Training cancels a course, participants will be offered either a transfer to another suitable course date or a full refund of the course fee.
The €10 administration fee will not apply where the course is cancelled by Immediate Care Training.
Where reasonably possible, participants will be informed of changes as early as possible.
Immediate Care Training cannot normally accept responsibility for additional costs incurred by participants as a result of a course being cancelled or rescheduled, including travel or accommodation costs. Participants arranging significant travel or accommodation are therefore advised to consider flexible or refundable arrangements.
Course Content, Certification and CPD
Immediate Care Training aims to ensure that course content reflects appropriate current clinical guidance, educational standards and the requirements of the relevant training programme.
Course content, teaching methods, instructors, timings or supporting materials may occasionally be changed where necessary to maintain the quality, accuracy or safe delivery of the programme.
Where certification is provided by an external organisation, including the American Heart Association, certification is subject to the participant meeting the requirements of that organisation and successfully completing the required elements of the course.
Where Continuing Professional Development (CPD) recognition is stated, this applies only to the relevant course and is subject to the requirements of the applicable professional or accrediting body.
Educational and Website Material
Information and educational material provided on the Immediate Care Training website, during courses or within supporting resources is intended for professional education and training.
Clinical information is provided to support learning and should be considered alongside current clinical guidelines, local policies, professional judgement and the individual circumstances of the patient.
Unless otherwise stated, website content and original educational material produced by Immediate Care Training may not be reproduced, distributed or used commercially without permission.
Liability
Immediate Care Training takes reasonable care to ensure that its courses and educational materials are accurate, appropriate and delivered to a high professional standard.
However, healthcare guidance and clinical evidence may change over time. Participants remain responsible for maintaining their professional competence and for applying their own clinical judgement within their scope of practice and relevant local or national guidance.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Data Protection
Personal information provided in connection with enquiries, bookings, course administration, certification or payment will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements.
Information will only be used where reasonably necessary to administer training, process bookings and payments, provide certification, communicate with participants, maintain appropriate course records or meet legal and regulatory obligations.
Where third-party services are required to process bookings, payments or certification, relevant information may be shared with those providers where necessary for those purposes.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts, except where applicable consumer law provides otherwise.
